As well as being the frontman for those K9 rockers Temple Dogs, Dave has carved out a career for himself as an accomplished singer/ songwriter and solo artist.

As Dave was increasingly being asked to play his solo stuff he decided to put Black Country together featuring various musicians depending on the occasion. These have included good friend and Temple Dog Paul May, John Baulcombe (ex Bradford) , Rich Davenport (See Red and Acoustic Lizzy) and Rob Allen (ex Temple Dogs)
Acoustic based folk rock with the inevitable smattering of Country.
Latest Release - 5 TRACK CD EP
The CD titled SCAPEGOAT contains 5 songs from Dave and will be under the new Black Country moniker. The CD includes the songs that Dave has used in raising awareness of mental health issues, these being, "Don't Be A Stranger", "Scapegoat" and "The House of Jack" . It also includes "Irish Gold"- Dave's tribute to the late great Phil Lynott and "Kick It" - a beautiful acoustic ballad taken from Crucifer's Hellbound Angel album.
